Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the old town, allowing easy access to all the highlights. The service was fabulous and accommodating to us non-French speaking guests. The dining experience was good, although some staff showed a lower level of competency. The rooms, however, were a bit delayed in terms of preparation which might impact retired couples on a fixed income due to possible price implications.
The hotel is centrally located with easy access to historic sites, surrounded by many restaurants and pubs. The rooms, though clean and comfortable, were not exactly as advertised. The service was excellent with multilingual and helpful staff. The dining experience was good, especially the French-style breakfast. However, pulling up blankets was challenging. Overall, a pleasant stay but with some room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, although newly renovated, were cramped compared to what I saw online. However, they were spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the in-room amenities were top-notch, including a mini fridge and a fantastic shower. The service was friendly and accommodating, although there were some lapses in housekeeping. The location was perfect within the walled city of Quebec, with plenty of dining options nearby. The dining experience was a bit hit and miss, but the staff went out of their way to ensure our needs were met. Despite these ups and downs, I would consider returning due to the great location and friendly staff.
This hotel is located in a perfect spot, very close to the center of old Quebec City and car road. The rooms were not exactly as shown in the pictures, and the breakfast room was a bit small for three people. The staff was incredibly accommodating, especially with our late check-in and early check-out, and they were also incredibly helpful when we had a problem with lost luggage. The location was convenient, although I didn't like walking through the restaurant to get to the elevator. The dining experience was phenomenal, with fine dining included. The facilities were well-prepared, and the included home-made pastries were delightful.
The hotel was a great choice for me. The breakfast room was peaceful and didn't have any unpleasant odors, providing a nice space to relax away from the crowds. The location was top-notch, placing me right in the heart of the action in the old city. Although the big things were well prepared, service during the snowy weather was lacking, and the staff's friendliness was not consistent. The dining options were convenient when available, and the price was reasonable. Overall, a comfortable stay with some minor hiccups.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms, although a bit small, were so charming and clean, and being in the heart of Old Quebec added to the charm. The staff was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to suggest a tour we didn't even know about. The location was superb, right in the heart of Old Quebec City near lovely cafes and with easy access to tours. The dining options were good, with a variety of choices available. Overall, a wonderful experience full of charm and helpful service.
The hotel's rooms had very low ceiling beams that they padded with foam, and our room wasn't cleaned every day. Despite the historic building's tight spaces, I'd still be willing to pay more for the charming atmosphere. The service was polite, helpful, and understanding. The location, with its sloped ceiling and beams, required caution but offered easy access to the vibrant old town. Although there were no bellboys, the central spot provided superb convenience. The dining experience was overall excellent, although additional charges for tea and coffee were a letdown. Facilities were comfortable, with cured meats being a notable highlight.
The hotel had a beautiful historic ambiance with superb views of the street, church, and up to the Villa Frontenac, facing the Chateau and park. The rooms were cramped and hard to maneuver in, but they offered an antique-looking brick wall that added to the charm. The service was very friendly and accommodating, reminiscent of Caribbean resorts, although there was a hint of an expectation for tips. The location was excellent, right in the center of Old Quebec on a cobblestone pedestrian street. The dining experience was good but high in sugar and carbs with limited options in some seasons. Overall, the facilities were adequate for a pleasant stay.
